We made it! 3300 miles later...what a trip. You can't possibly get a sense of how BIG this country is until you drive across it.
We had a great day today driving from Winslow, AZ. We stopped in this awesome town called Oatman, AZ. It's made famous by burros (donkeys) roaming the streets freely. I don't do well on windy mountain roads so getting there was an experience. I was having fun in the town until a toothless wonder yokel, told me that a burro might think Alfie is a mini-coyote and that they would attack him. I laughed at this thinking it was a joke and she assured me she was serious.
Ok time to leave...but before we could we tried to disguise alfie as a burro!
We finished our adventure with a photo opp on route 66. Yup I got my kicks!

Hey, after the "Toothless" granny warned you about the borrows, did she then proceed to open a beer with her one good tooth, good ol' chopper and then warn you about the haunted mine. haha Sounds like a fun piece of Americana. The Jeep looks good in its new home.Remember, Use suncreen ;)
