I love the Day Before a great journey! Although I always wait until the absolute last minute to actually pack anything, I'm at least thinking about it. But more important is the gadgets needed for this type of trip. Today I bought a new Verizon Mobile Internet Cellular thingamajig. It works amazingly fast. We'll be able to upload pictures that will bore the lights out of anyone looking at them. I've downloaded a bunch of songs I'm sure Angela will just hate into my Garmin GPS. I've got maps spread out all over the floor in my office.
I've been cross country at least a dozen times. Three of them by motorcycle. A bunch of trips solo and with friends out to Montana, Idaho and the Rockies. A couple years ago I took a motorcycle to Alaska... www.motoalaska.blogspot.com But I always want to go again.
