We used a combination of my laptop with cellular internet connection and the GPS to analyze the weather conditions ahead and a decision was made to stop early in a town just before the weather fronts leading edge and let the blizzard blow over us this evening and continue on tomorrow in a forecasted beautiful day.
So here we are in a beautiful Super 8 hotel in Boonville MO, watching a movie on HBO and eating Subway sandwiches.........Living large!
I did take a ride into "Old Boonville". A beautiful 1930s town that time has stood still. Lots of really neat buildings, but unfortunately, most business are closed. Sad......But there is a brand new casino on the Missouri River that seemed to be doing a nice business.
On to the Rockie mountains tomorrow!
