Kentucky - Missouri

Today was a long travel day. We slogged through all of Kentucky and more than half of Missouri. We had to get off the highway a little earlier tonight, due to nasty wintry weather heading towards us from our next destination, Denver CO.

Kentucky was pretty much farms, farms and more farms... The cool part of today was seeing the Arch in St. Louis, MO.

I really couldn't believe how tall it is. It's an amazing structure! I wish the weather had been better, would have been cool to walk around the city for a bit. That's ok, Jen arrived in LA today and she tells me from our new sunshine flowered porch that it's 80 degrees and sunny! I thinkI can stand rain for a few more days...

We did hit our first Cracker Barrel restaurant. For those of you that have been to them I don't need to say anything more but "yum". For those of you who haven't, I hear they are in RI now :) You MUST go.

I still am pretty bad at the game.

Off to Denver tomorrow, that should be a beautiful drive through the rockies.

More tomorrow night.
